Atlantic Cod

The Atlantic Cod has been apart of the fishing industry for more than 500 years. These large fish are found in the Northern Atlantic and on average are 3 1/2 feet long, weighing around 25 pounds.

Cod are extremely popular and can be prepared in a variety of ways including poached, baked, grilled, or even served in a stew. This fish goes well with potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, and eggplant. It is a great substitute to beef as it's packed with proteins, available most of the year, and very versatile in how it's cooked.
