Monk Fish

With a face that only a mother could love, the Monkfish uses its angler appendage on its head like a fishing line to pull its prey in. Once its prey comes near the Monkfish opens its huge mouth line with a gauntlets of teeth to devore its prey. The Monkfish are found along te bottom of the northwest Atlantic.

Monkfish has a firm texture, which is similar to lobster, and can be poached, steamed, grilled, or fried.
